Whatever After, Fairest of All Summary

The book the Fairest of All is about two normal kids Abby and Jonah.  One night Jonah woke up Abby and drug her downstairs.  The mirror was bolted to the wall with strong Frankenstein bolts.  Jonah knocked on the mirror and it hissed.  He did it a third time and they got sucked into the mirror.  Abby had been holding on to their Mom's old law books.  It had not worked, apparently they had ended up in Snow White's story.  Although it had taken days for them to figure this out.  Peeking over a tree Abby saw a mean old lady who was carrying an apple and an empty basket.  Jonah was really hungry and wanted to eat the apple.  Then they noticed that the basket was empty and they started to question her about why it was empty.  They saw Evil Evelyn trying to poison Snow White.  So they told Snow White to take the apple out of her mouth so she would not be poisoned by it.  They felt bad because they had messed up Snow White's story and knew the Prince wouldn't save Snow White.  This means she will never have her happy ending.  They had been wanting to go home through the Magic mirror but, they had to change her story back to normal.  As Evil Evelyn trys to disguise herself with many different costumes they were planning to make Snow White look dead and tell the prince to come by.  Abby was reading one of her Mom's old law books that had got sucked in the portal with them.  Then Abby realized that Snow White's Dad might have a will saying that Snow White could be queen when she turned a certain age.  They were heading towards the castle to get Prince Trevor and Xavier the hunstman out of the dungeon.  They would have to cross the stream which had giant crocodiles in it.  Instead of letting them eat them they decided to let them eat the soggy stew sandwiches.  When they got in, the mirror talked to them about how to get the Prince and Huntsman out of the dungeon.  As Evil Evelyn was in a deep sleep they stole the key off her neck.  They unlocked the dungeon and escaped out the window with a bed sheet.  Sadly the guards caught them waking up the queen and then Jonah and Abby read the will of Snow White's dad.  The will states that Snow White is to be queen when she turns 16, which she is.  The guards try to take her away and then she shoots an arrow.  The arrow hits the prince as he jumps in front of Snow White and she gives him mouth to mouth to save him.  He wakes up and recovers.  Then, she and the Prince start to plan their wedding.  Evil Evelyn gets taken away and Snow White gets her happy ending.  They go back through the mirror and time has not stopped at home and they act as if nothing happened.
